Routine sampling and testing on daily basis. Provide timely analysis of Mill coolants, verification analysis of incoming lubricants used in the mill using FT-IR, viscometers, various associated laboratory equipment, and established wet chemical technics. Provide support and coordination of initiatives in assigned Rolling Mill workstations. Provide timely results of physical testing of metals produced in the mill. Establish and maintain standard operating procedures for the various laboratory testing requirements.
Know company policies and procedures, communicate the preferences of customers, and proactively develop plans to optimize the customer’s quality experience. Deliver timely and accurate reporting back to our organization, and to the customer as required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.50 - $21.00 per hour
